All Stars Weekly Wrap-up – Friday 20 November 2015

U10 Great Whites

Crackerjack Chicken

All the crew were back on deck, welcome back Nic _ given the fact that over the past 2 or 3 weeks in training we have missed some of you! We maintained a good team structure in both defence and attack. The first half saw the boys experiment on some of the new found skills learnt over the past few weeks at training with some good results/outcomes. Jaiden and Daniel have grown since the start of the season, both boys have lifted their defence games to a whole new level – well done boys. Special mention goes out to ‘James’ (Jim) who has scored his first ever try in touch footy, three cheers buddy! Tireless efforts in both defence and attack from Leigh, Matthew and Reilly have ensured all team members take part in the game, they look to support and encourage the younger plays throughout the game.

Keep up the great work boys!

U10 Rainbows

Enwise Electrical and RefigerationThis week  at training the All Star U10 Rainbows practiced keeping a straight line and moving forward together in defence. This was to build on our rucking and passing skills previously learnt. Unfortunately due to the hot weather, the defensive line we kept was not as straight as could be hoped. However passing and rucking was magnificent. Great things are predicted for the team next week!

U12 Vipers

newsXpress on westAnother fantastic effort on Friday night! The boys are really starting to come together as a team. Our rucking out of our own half is great, keep working on this boys. With only a couple of subs again we had to rotate the positions throughout the game . The effort of every player on the field was fantastic.  Lachie’s  defence and ball running was amazing, he is really improving every week. Angus and Jack had  strong games, Sam is improving each week.  Charlie, James, Hamish also put in good games.  We’re still learning and understanding the rules of touch. Keep working hard at training boys!

U12 Stingrays

All StarsThe last couple of weeks the under 12 stingrays have had some very good games , great speed was shown by Will and Callum and excellent leadership skills by Lucas and Luke , overall the team is coming together well with some close games and brilliant tries by Tom and Sonny.

The last match the boys played was against the top side in the division and they battled hard and improved immensely in the second half, best and fairest in that game was Leroy.

We have a few games left before the end of the year and the boys are starting to develop good team drills, ball work and really enjoying their footy!
