All Stars Coach’s Update

Referees U12-16 We have submitted a list of referees for all teams U12-16, but we have a number of young refs unavailable for the first fixtures with  Qld All Schools.  Please not as a coach you may need to fill in for refs this Friday 🙂

Friday 18 October  There are no games on Friday 18 October due to Softball State C’ships.

Modified Rules (U8-10) – If you are coaching under 8-10 please be aware of the modified rules.  Essentially; games are played across half a field, its 5-a-side, defence can’t move up until first receiver catches ball, dummy half cannot run with the ball, coaches can be on the field of play.

Touch Balls  If you require a game ball please contact Dave (Cambo).  They will be available on friday.

Training Kits  If you need some training gear (markers/balls) please contact us!

Carnival  The All Stars carnival will be held at Kearneys Spring on Sunday 3 November (9am-midday).

Registration  This is now done online.  In the next week we will provide each coach with instruction slips to hand out to each player so that they can self register online.

Fees  We have had a great response so far with a lot of people paying fees online.  Our club treasurer will be in the clubhouse this week if parents wish to pay cash.  Just ask for Arthur.

Shirts Cambo will be at the following locations on Friday to hand out team kits to Coaches:

Under 8’s – 4.15 to 4.45pm – On the hill at Field 2
Under 10’s – 4.45 to 5.15pm – near the grandstand at end of Field 9
Under 12’s – 5.20 to 6pm – coaching at Field 4
Under 12’s – 6 to 6.45pm – near the grandstand at end of Field 9
Under 14’s – 7pm to 7.45pm – coaching at Field 6

Coaches will hand out shirts before their games… If the shirt doesn’t fit the player please do not allow the player to wear the shirt.  Please advise Dave/Cambo of the correct size shirt required and return him these shirts.  The player can still play week one in whatever they are wearing.
