All Stars Weekly Wrap-Up – Friday 9 October, 2015

U12 Angels

It was a great start to the season by the U12 Angels. Izzy, Demi & Molly created a lot of chances for our fast outside players Courtney & Savannah who scored numerous tries. Well done to Tessa & Elsbeth in their first U12 game. Lucy and Izzy Neumann were elusive in attack.  Great team effort all round particularly in defence keeping our opponents to zero tries.

 

U12 Sharks

The U12 Sharks had an amazing start to the season scoring 16 very entertaining tries. With only two subs the boys rotated through positions during the game in a great team performance. Great first up game by Riley setting up numerous tries while Mitchell and Dougal performed well and played every position on the field during the game.

 

U12 Coolers

With only one sub – the boys worked together well for the whole game. Mitch and Lachlan were impressive in defense, helping to keep the Coolers line together and making some great touches. Jed, Peter and Jacob led the rucking, moving the ball down field to put us in a great position for attack. Zac created some space out wide,passing off to Kyan who was super quick on the wing! What a great start to the season!

 

U14 Boys and U16s

Unfortunately the weather intervened on Wednesday night – meaning that our U14 Boys and U16 teams missed out on their first game of the season. They’re all keen to take the field next week – stay tuned for match reports!
